What is Our Purpose?
St. Catherine Orthodox Church is a traditional, conservative and family-oriented church dedicated to teaching and, more importantly, living the faith of the original church founded by Jesus Christ and the Apostles
What exciting news do we have to share for parents and children?
We have been blessed to have recently begun a children's church every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. The teacher uses an interactive, innovative and artistic way of teaching young people about the Gospel lesson for that Sunday. Come and see! Learn and enjoy, too!
What are the Orthodox Study classes all about?
The Orthodox Study classes are open to everyone (i.e., inquirers, catechumens, cradles and converts). Hieromonk Kenneth Alonso is leading the class. Father Kenneth is the Rector of the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene. He is the Founder and Director of the St. Gregory of Nyssa Institute of Theology, which offers courses in Spanish to those interested in ministry or service to the church. Father Kenneth is also a retired Professor of Medicine and Pathology; he also has a PhD in Theology (Bioethics).
